With 40 years of presence in the retail sector, Kayra follows global trends and combines them with its own unique lines. Our Marketing and Sales Director Furkan Ortakaya explained the intricacies of Kayra designs to MallReport Shopping Center and Retail Magazine;

• Could you briefly tell us about the story of the emergence of Kayra, which has become the choice of stylish women with current and original lines in women's clothing?

As the second-generation representative of a 40-year-old well-established fashion brand, I can say that the emergence of Kayra is due to the fact that there is no brand in the conservative clothing sector that produces original and international quality standards. The founder of our brand, my esteemed father Mehmet Ortakaya, realized the lack of quality design and production and intensified his work in this field and was a pioneer in carrying Kayra to today.

As Kayra, our priority is to create unique designs by following global trends and interpreting them according to the needs of conservative clothing and Kayra's unique sense of style. We have priorities such as adapting the developing and changing technology to our production and system. We continue to improve ourselves in every sense by evaluating consumer needs and demands.

• What are your inspirations while preparing your designs, can you tell us about the prominent designs in your fall/winter collection?

The most important part of our design team is the R&D phase. Global trends are examined, international fairs and organizations are visited, and the design phase is started in the most equipped way. At this point, while following the trends, only the designs that reflect the style of "Kayra Woman" and meet the expectations of our loyal customers find a place in our collections. We interpret global trends according to ourselves and this is where the Kayra difference and originality comes from.

While preparing our fall winter collection; different fabrics, textures and patterns were evaluated separately by our design team to create unique pieces. Patterns, prints and colors inspired by nature are at the forefront. Earth tones are among our indispensables again. We advocate that elegance is hidden in simplicity and details, and we complement our apparel collection with our rich selection of accessories, which are also our own designs.

• How do you make your customers feel the Kayra difference in your accessory group such as bags, shawls, scarves, which form the integral parts of an outfit?

The most important factor that makes Kayra accessories different is that there is a separate design team for accessory design. The pieces that speak to the main collection provide a unique integrity. Each collection is created with meticulous care, and we think this is the most distinctive feature of Kayra's groundbreaking designs.

This meticulous work in creating the products is reflected on the products and then on the customers. Together with our accessories collection, Kayra users can achieve high style looks by achieving harmony from head to toe in our stores.

• Lastly, what would you like to add?

Kayra is a brand that has been in the sector for an average of 40 years, and we would not be wrong if we say that it draws its strength from our female employees. As a company policy, we attach significant importance to female employment. From the design stage, which is the first stage, to the stage where we touch the customer from the store, the labor and success of our female employees are felt.
